What is Blue Fox?

Blue Fox wasn't born out of a market opportunity, but out of a wish to make a vision real: a high-performance technology world within reach of every business and non-profit, safe from the big tech giants that creep into our business data and the proprietary lock-in that comes with them.
The struggle smaller organizations face accessing cutting-edge operations management technology hardly needs to be made.
At the same time, an impressive ecosystem exists on the free software side. That realization was the trigger to start a company built around these smart IT and process management strategies.

"Nothing in life is free."
- People who go without the free stuff...
Unlike proprietary platforms where "if it's free, you're the product," free software runs on a completely different model: one of collaboration, transparency and respect for users.
Here, no mass data harvesting, no opaque algorithms steering your choices – just tools built to serve you, not exploit you.
At Blue Fox, we believe technology should be a lever for autonomy and not a dependency. By betting on open-source solutions, we give SMEs and non-profits the means to operate more efficiently without sacrificing their digital sovereignty or their privacy.
Far from being a simple cost question, it's a strategic choice: a digital ecosystem that is ethical, sustainable and accessible to all.
The human behind the fox
Blue Fox is run by Olivier Morneau, a Montreal-based professional in IT and business process optimization.
With an atypical but consistently performance-driven background, Olivier understands the constraints smaller businesses face firsthand – whether budget, staffing shortages, or simply not enough time to deliver on organizational goals that often can't wait.
A computing enthusiast since childhood, he stays constantly on the lookout for new developments in information technology.

Traditional land acknowledgement
We acknowledge that we operate on traditional, unceded Indigenous lands – meaning no treaty was ever signed to cede sovereignty over them. This territory is the home of the Kanien’kehá:ka (Mohawk) Nation, historic stewards of these lands and waters. It is also a place of significance for the Algonquin (Anishinaabeg) people and other nations who have inhabited and protected this territory over the generations.
We honour the Indigenous peoples – past, present and future – who hold a deep and ongoing connection with this land. Beyond this acknowledgement, we affirm our commitment to standing in solidarity with Indigenous peoples. We commit to listening, learning, and supporting their voices, businesses and initiatives, in a spirit of respect and collaboration. We believe in the importance of concrete and bold actions for reconciliation and in building authentic relationships grounded in respect, justice and inclusion.
We express our deep gratitude to First Nations and reaffirm our commitment to contributing, at our scale, to a future where their rights, cultures and contributions are fully recognized and valued.
